# Mrs. Magdalene Bhatt received ‘Teacher of Substance Award 2019’ by Govt. of NCT – Delhi Minorities Commission for her commendable service to the poor and marginalized section of society.
# Various Programme and achievements: various online Orientation programmes and workshops for school staff and students:
- Our School is the first Diocesan School to come up with an Online Newsletter (Quarterly) for students and Parents. His Grace Archbishop of Delhi expressed his appreciation for the same. Daily newspaper is also sent to the children through e – portal.
- “Shot in Short” Delhi Inter school Short Film Making Competition on the theme ‘Break the Chain’, was organised by our school in which 11 schools participated and Rosary Sr. Sec. School got the award for the Best Film.
- Important Days and Festivals were celebrated on line; short messages were delivered by the Manager and Principal on the importance of event. Each and every student is given at least one chance to participate in events; competitions and group assignments.
- Principal distributed ration and monetary help to the poor families and to the families of our adopted centre during Covid – 19 lockdown.
- Principal attended almost 10 -12 webinars and workshop organized by CBSE, Education Department, Times of India and AINAC.
- 43 teachers attended approximately 622 webinars and workshop organized by Private Institutions, CBSE and Education Department, i.e. Safety for teachers conducting online classes, Designing online Assessments, National Faculty Development programme, Art Integrated teaching, Khelo India, Capacity Building Programme, Gender Sensitivity, Teaching strategies, Mental Health First Aid, How to effectively use Google Class room, Physical Mental performance Enhancement during lock down.
1 st Delhi Chai-Kwang to Champianship1st Delhi Chai-Kwang to Champianship, which was organized by Chai-Kwang the association of Delhi was won by Rohini District. It was held on 12th Auguest 2017 in the hall of Maharaja Aggression Bhawan at Tringar. Around 300 players took part in this Championship. Sehaj Kanwaria (under 14) of St. Michael Sr. Sec. School from the Rohini central District was foremost player and was a Gold Medalist. |
Basketball Zonal Tournament
Zonal basketball tournament was held at Bal Bharti Public School. Teams from 16 schools all over Delhi participated in this tournament. Our school won the tournament by defeating Manav Sthali School by 61-49.
Football Zonal Championship
Zonal Football tournament was conducted in St. Michael’s Sr. Sec. School. Teams from 16 prestigious schools participated in this tournament. Final match of the zonal was played between St.Michael’s School and Springdales School. Our school won the match 1-0 and eventually the tournament too
Archbishop Angelo Fernandes Memorial Football ChampionshipArchbishop Angelo Fernandes Memorial Football Championship was organized by our school .Teams from 12 prestigious schools of Delhi took part in this tournament. Our school won the championship after defeating St. Columba’s School with a score of 1-0 in the final match. |
